Real Wedding Inspiration: Polariod Guest Book

Roxanne & John's wedding in Keystone was full of so many special touches, but maybe the most fun was their Polaroid guest book. Instead of taking the traditional route, Roxanne & John purchased a Polaroid PgGo Instant Mobile Printer.

When their guests came to sign the guest book they got their picture snapped in a lift chair that had been set up in the guest book station. While their photo printed, guests took a second to leave a nice note, tip, or memory on a page in the guest book, and moments later their photo was included on that page!

All we had to do was hook up the digital camera to the mobile printer, and bam! 2" x 3" borderless, color photo memories came shooting out. So much fun for guests, and a great memento for the bride and groom.

Our recommendations? Make sure you have a couple of people responsible for running your guest book station, because a little bit of time is required to keep the book looking spectacular. Also, if you're planning on having a lot of guests, it might be a good idea to have two camera/printer combos in the works to keep the flow of traffic manageable! Other than that, we're sure Roxanne & John will have a fantastic guest book to keep for many years!

Denver Post Etiquette Article

Classic Creations featured in Denver Post Wedding Etiquette Article:

Hey, wedding guests: Get it (etiquette) together, OK?
Today's bride and groom have more to worry about than a sexually explicit toast, overbearing in-laws and someone else wearing all white.

Bad guests who overshare on social media networking sites have left couples feeling exposed.

Posting photos online without permission is the biggest digital wedding gripe of brides who responded to a WeddingChannel.com poll, with 40 percent citing it. Poor behaviors run the gamut from tweeting an RSVP and doling out minute-by-minute status updates, to complaining about the food, accidentally announcing an engagement or alerting friends, co-workers and family members who weren't invited. Photo of the Week: Roxanne & John Keystone Wedding Preview

We had such an amazing time on Saturday in Keystone celebrating Roxanne & John's beautiful union. While it was rainy and cold in Denver, it couldn't have been more ideal up at the tip top of the mountain.

Denver Wedding Photographer, Jason G, captured some absolutely breathtaking images from the day. We'll be sure to post more when we get them, but for now, here's a sneak peek into Roxanne & John's fantastic Keystone wedding.

Cool Thing: Quench your thirst to unique-ify your wedding with your own soda!

Mmmm... this wedding is delicious!

Jones Soda began creating their signature, "alternative" beverages in 1987. They've built quite a following with their colorful and flavorful products, but only recently did they begin offering something unique for each of their customers.

"My Jones" lets you create your own label - giving you the ability to personalize your favorite Jones Soda flavor. This is a perfect idea for a unique favor, decorative touch, or even a welcome gift. Cheers!

DIY Wedding Tip: Teapot Centerpiece

Today we bring you a centerpiece inspiration fit for Wonderland. A teapot centerpiece overflowing with delicate blooms can be elegant enough for a bridal shower, pre-wedding luncheon, or even a spring garden themed wedding reception.

To make a teapot centerpiece, collect brightly colored, vintage, or even unique, family teapots. Place your flowers of choice inside, and feel free to jazz it up by giving it height on a matching teacup or creating a larger arrangement by including candles (like this teapot candelabra centerpiece from Anthroplogie).

Cool Things: Couture Cupcakes!

Classic Creations is proud to announce that we are now a selected vendor of Bella Couture Cupcakes!

Cool Things: Marriage in the Sky

Okay... I've felt a little queasy in my stomach all afternoon just thinking about this. Even looking at the photos gives me a major case of vertigo, I can't imagine actually participating!

However, if you and your groom-to-be are part of a seriously adventurous crew... maybe you regularly take unguided African safaris, scuba dive in shark coves, race fighter jets... then maybe a marriage in the sky is just for you.

A truly unique way to celebrate - on a platform 50 meters in the air, quite a bit closer to the heavens! But hey, you can bet you'll get special attention from an angel or two on your special day. Just make sure you mention the location of your wedding beforehand, in case you have any heights-wary guests!

Photo of the Week: Edible Escort Cards!

I’m bringing this one to you all the way from my hometown, St. Louis, Missouri. Or, “The Lou” as you may have heard it referred to by Nelly circa 1998.

I love the personalized touches each unique couple brings to make their day theirs. There’s so much room for creativity with escort cards – you can literally use anything as long as it's informative.

Maggie and Brian took a delicious spin on their cards. Focusing largely on warm colors and cozy tones, they decided to create a fresh-looking display using green apples to direct guests to their seats (and insert a cheery pop to their reception colors). The bright color of the apples looks so crisp and complimentary with the deep red table fabric. I would never expect an apple to look “elegant” but, in my opinion, this does!
